About the project
What we hope…
- To create awareness and to define ways to ensure equal
opportunities for women and men by sharing good practice.
- To build bridges and social partnership between organisations from
civil society and the political world in order to implement and
monitor gender sensitive policies.
- To improve learning opportunities for decision and policy makers,
managers of adult education organisations and leaders of NGOs on
gender equality issues.
- To contribute to capacity building in the adult education sector.
- To increase male participation in supporting equal
opportunities for men and women.
Beneficiaries…
- The direct - decision and policy makers at all levels, educators
and managers of adult education organisations, as well as leaders of
NGOs.
- The indirect beneficiary groups are women and man facing gender
discrimination, especially those facing multiple forms of disadvantage
(e.g. the unemployed, the disabled, elderly people, and women socially
and economically at risk).
